Panzer Dragoon by Atolm Panzer Dragoon by Atolm
People know that I like the game Ecco the Dolphin, what they don't know is that my largest fandom is another Sega game series: Panzer Dragoon (as if my nickname on this site wasn't a dead giveaway).

Anyways, a speed sketch (20-25 min) done listening to Panzer Dragoon music (Atolm dragon, The Expected Enemy, Pure Blood Seed to name a few).

It felt damn good doing this.

Download to see a bigger version. D:

Great beast - his image fits the Ocean theme (looks a bit like Narval to me)
Is there an image of whole dragon's body?

CORR BLIMEY! Hats off to you ^ ^ Panzer Dragoon being my ultimate influence as an artist I commend you heavily. I'm sorry, I am rather picky xD But I believe the horn has a little too much curve in it's overall shape? Either way, it doesn't exclude that it is a brilliant sketch, very well done.

Considering your speed sketches are superior to my finished works, I say POST MOAR.

There are personal reasons as to why I don't post the majority of my work online anymore. I am certainly not avoiding uploading because I expect watchers to see certain things, but I know a good portion enjoy seeing ocean related works, so I post what ones I want to share. :)

i dont think you should avoid uploading something just because you expect your watchers to want to see a certain thing. i certainly dont watch you for the dolphins, i watch you for your art style.

I would rather have more variety than the same theme all the time.

This is very well balanced! Thank you for posting it :)

Anyways, It's always refreshing to see something else than dolphins x)
And remember, you're the artist, you can do whatever you want!

With the exception of the exchange this month, I haven't drawn any cetaceans for quite some time.

Funny you mentioned that, once long I had someone tell me to stop posting dolphin pictures (this was waaaaay in the beginning when I was also posting human armor and weapon concepts).

I have no problem if a person chooses to draw whatever they want if it makes them happy (though if they want to improve, they should branch out) but I have problems with people who intentionally make others feel guilty about what they (the artists) enjoy drawing. Sadly I see this happening way too much lately. Some of who I respected, though not as much anymore. :/

Yeah, I've noticed those people too.. won't mention any names. I'm lucky to have so few watchers that they don't usually 'expect' me to draw something. My problem is really that I'm stuck with dolphins.. That's why I say it's refreshing to see deviations of other themes. I'd like to do the same!
